And he's a nobody in comparison to the bigger name switchers.
Joyce and Van Baelen get a tour card.
Hughes, Menzies, Jeff Smith and Fitton do not

What a mess

They were good enough the others weren't.
Why is it a mess?

A few players who made Ally Pally this year failed to get a tour card

Poor quality in the PDC

See it can work both ways

Did the number 3 and number 8 seed at Ally Pally fail to get through Q-School? If not, then his comparison is null and void.

And yes I know, it's Oche.

Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.

Smudger Smith eliminated by someone called John Goldie.

The win eliminates Peter Hudson from Tour Card contention for now.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

Matthew Edgar 5 | 4 Ryan Joyce

Doesn't change anything. Edgar secured his card too.

Surprised to see Brooks in the last 8...Think I remember seeing him in a UK open qualifier on stream and was not good!

Niall Culleton

Doesn't even has a darts database profile, now he has to win only 2 more matches.

Ive decided that Im happy with the outcome of qschool2018. For every Eddie Dootson, there is a cory cadby and for every Mario Robbe, there is a Jeffrey de Zwaan.

Shame about portela tho, guess he figured European Qschool would be easier. Now he is obligated to play for the euro qualifiers in europe as well (if he wants to play them that is). Challenge Tour could do him a world of good tho..

Speaking of which, that rule has not appeared in the official season rules. Maybe they've already scrapped the idea again?
PDPA members who are not of a nationality covered by the above qualification criteria (i.e. non-European) may participate in the UK qualifier. Non-PDPA members who are not of a nationality covered by the above qualification criteria (i.e. non-European) may participate in the West & South Europe qualifier.
That's the same rule as last year.

How do they decide reserve numbers for the first few ET qualifiers before the CT starts?

Williams out, so Hudson can be calm now.

Edit: Goldie is in the top 15, so Hudson failed.

No, 2 will be out of the 4 semi finalists, because all of them in the top 15. So Hudson is there.

Aren't Rydz and Beveridge should be 16th and 17th? I thought the best individual performances count there.

Bradley Brooks - | - John Goldie
Dawson Murschell - | - Terry Temple

Rather pointless final 4 considering all of them are guaranteed Tour Cards.
