I'm really glad for Smith. Finally the lad who is extremely talented gets to a big final. Course MVG's very likely to beat him but still a great step for Michael. This PL has been about his story. Ando v MVG would make for a better final probably but I don't care right now. Gando wouldn't trouble MVG with this performance anyway.

YEsss. Delighted for him. How fuckn far off must the Premier League Final have seemed to him two years ago. He embarrassed himself in the first Champions League.

How many people here put him down for elimination in the pred game? I did.

A fair result and a fair final... The best two players of the League fighting it out in the final.

Hats off to Smith.

Great stuff from Smith, what a great story he's been this year, lovely for him. I hope he wins it be fair, good luck to him. Maybe the doubters saying why is Smith in there have motivated him

Breaking that "no TV finals" curse must be the biggest weight off Smithy's shoulders.

At this point in his career Win or lose this match isn't that important in Smiths career, what is important is that he fights all the way thru and gives a scare to MvG and start to prove to MvG and himself he is a real contender.

Anderson didn't even show the fuck up to be honest. But no surprise as his whole approach to darts is really is as lazy as Lewis and Barney. But for some reason he doesn't get castigated as much as them.

No you didn't.
Skweezit did though, as did Greipel. Shame on them.

In that case +1 to shame on those who did, the know-nothing simpletons.

First-time TV finalists in the last year or so:
Price, Gurney, Clayton, Cross, Cadby, Smith. Plus Kyle in the World Series.
Anyone else?

Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.
