Rob Cross
Gary Anderson
Daryl Gurney
Mensur Suljovic
Raymond van Barneveld
Peter Wright

With two nights in Europe barney is guaranteed even if his arm falls off.

Not ten better candidates than him tbh.

No your right, the younger ones who have been included in the past have sucked even worse.

He is normally good in the PL. Made the semis in most of his appearances. That and the worlds seem to be the two tournaments he does well in.

With Taylor going sky will be desperate for a name like his on the ticket anyway.
Cross must be very likely as well.

I'm still not convinced Taylor won't be persuaded to take part

Is Cross a big enough name/personality? If he doesn't have make the latter stages of the Worlds, I think the PDC will overlook him.

MVG, Wright, Anderson, Gurney are nailed on.

Barney, Mensur, Lewis, Wade and Chizzy are all probable.

The final spot could go to either Cross, Price, Bully, or Benito. I think Price has a decent chance, especially if he has a strong Worlds.

I think the level Cross is playing at can not be ignored
Granted hes aint a big name but the standard hes producing is way too good for him to be left out

On merit, he deserves to get in.

However, with it being the first year without Taylor, the PDC will want all the name value that they can muster. For that reason alone, the likes of Lewis and Wade may get in over Cross. I suspect Lewis will get in no matter what. Similar to Barney in previous years.

I really don't understand why some think Wade will be in. Sky won't give him a wildcard, they have proved in the past they don't care for him.

Wade over Cross would be fuckibg carnage I hope sky aint that stupid

Anyway I think Cross is lime 5th or 6th in the pecking order now. If some miss out it wont be him imo

Almost agree with Senna, I would say put Menstruate and Barney in the nailed on category.
the basket of probables Cross, Chizzy, Shitlock, Smith, Wade, and Fatpot.
Fatpot defending a buffet load of dosh, don't see him playing well enough to stay in the top 12 or so. Wade thinking the PDC are looking for an excuse to leave him out.
Price and Benito too underdeveloped for PL is what the PDC are thinking, both need a bit more time to grow into more consistent games.
Cross seems to have more maturity than others who have gone in the PL early in their careers, so I think they take a chance on getting him in there and rightly so.
Smith working his ass off to get back in the PL and trying to look like a "professional" instead of a petulant turd.

The worlds will be a bigger factor than in previous years for selecting the PL participants. Not convinced Philth won't be playing it in 2018.
He is still better than the basket of probables with the exception of Cross.

MvG, Dufus, Gary and Gurney should go in as the top 4.

Barney and Lewis will definitely be the Sky Wild Cards given that they are popular with the fans.

As regards the PDC Wild Cards I think Mensur will get one given that we'll be in nearby Berlin this time around. Whitlock will get in on the grounds of PL Experience and the World GP Final. Chizzy will get the third PDC Wild Card. My hunch will be that Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price will fight for the fourth one.

Wade? No fucking chance.

Cross? If I was Uncle Barry I would wait another year before giving him a PL Wild Card... And if he turns to be a one season wonder? Prove me that you can make another great season and you'll be granted the 2019 PL Wild Car.

Obviously this might change according to what happens at Ally Pally.
