Was about to say the short format could be a leveller but a lot of the Masters game were over in 6-11 legs anyway. The Thorn wrote:Best of 11 legs.Randall wrote:What's the format?
It may go up in the final rounds, I'm not sure about that.

Even if Krzys does't come through in this, he still can qualify by Pro Tour?Randall wrote:The glorious possibility draws close..........

Re: 2018 Greatest Show on Earth - Qualification
He could but would need to play well at the last Euro Tour event. In his form he could easily go to quarters or semis there, but it's still very risky as he could draw a top seed who plays even better.gcjdavid wrote:Even if Kryz does't come through in this, he still can qualify by Pro Tour?Randall wrote:The glorious possibility draws close..........

Oh Ratty!
Well the final Euro Tour is October 13-15, where he'll need money if he wants Ally Pally, and presumably the Lakeside draw is to be done (perhaps several times) before then.
Will he try to keep Auntie Sue hanging, or just pick Lakeside now?

Should just give in and choose Lakeside now IMORogg wrote:Oh Ratty!

Not ideal but can't risk missing out on both.
Even though you can't rule out another massive fuckup and the BDO not doing the draw in the next weeks.

Alan Ljubic from Croatia qualifies for Ally Pally. Never heard of him but fair play and good luck.

Here's the match Ratajski lost to Kciuk, decent numbers but Ratajski definitely playing below his standard last week.:

Re: 2018 Greatest Show on Earth - Qualification
Seen Ljubic's name regularly in the Dartslive World events the last couple of years, and seems to be doing fairly well there...35th place with 4 of 6 events played last year, 10th place this season with 4/4 played so far. Not sure if he has any significant steel-tip background, no ranking position at all in the WDF in any case. (Actually it looks like he reached the semifinals at the Austrian Open three months ago, but they didn't give him his ranking points for it for some reason.)
