The notoriously unreliable Asian qualifying seems to have stabilized a bit - the company the PDC has partnered with in China was also doing one of the other Asian qualifiers last year (in Taiwan), and this time they're even doing two others (in Taiwan for North/East of Asia and in Thailand for South/West). Especially the South/West stuff always seemed to be a total mess, with different promoters every year. Might improve now.

Yes, you cant play in both the area qualifier and the PDPA one qualifiers. I remember one year Scholten dodged the official PDPA one and played one of the European ones. Didnt work :D
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

A pdc major winner hardly anyone would remember.
More famous for blowing it against Taylor in the PL.

O'Connor should win this.
Would be nice if it was on TV, it's before the final anyway, stage and everything is set, they probably have 3-4 hours of broadcast time as well.
Would be a great warmup as the final could be over in as little as an hour.

I agree, that would be nice. Final night needs fleshing out somehow. Sometimes the final will be so short you might as well play it on semi-final night.

Not sure. MVG went 3-0 up in the blink of an eye. Massacre darts. Things were fairly even after Anderson woke up.

Eastern European Qualifier today? :D

So we have the incredible situation of a player (not just any player, the actual world masters champ) - who's already qualified for Lakeside - entering a PDC Worlds qualifier to try and make Ally Pally instead.

Whether he comes through it or not, I can't work out which outcome would kill off the most shrooms.

Some from Poland and Hungary definitely were.
Haven't seen the draw for today's qualifiers yet so don't know who is in.

Poland and Germany being neighbouring countries suggested they would have played in the same one to me.
Oh well.

Best of 11 legs.
It may go up in the final rounds, I'm not sure about that.
