Well that depends, there is a huge range of possibilities at this qualifier, from De Zwaan to MUFFINMAN. After last year's utter monstrosity, something good is due to happen. That's how it works right.Captain Hobo wrote:We don't even want to watch the 2 who qualifyRogg wrote:A tweet yesterday:

Here are the Tour Card holders not entered in the PDPA qualifier. A few of them were not eligible due to playing regional qualifier.

Pecker finally given up? About time really. I applaud him for trying the PDC and I think he would be quite comfortable within the BDO system, doing reasonable well. Alternatively, he could try his hand at the challenger tour; however, he only seems to play well at Q-School and would probably end up getting a card again.

Re: 2018 Greatest Show on Earth - Qualification
Some stuff confirmed here. The World Championship draw will be Monday evening on Sky Sports News !!!! Probably not doing it on the flippin Thames this year then.
With the winner of the World Youth Championship guaranteed an Alexandra Palace spot, Josh Payne enters his clash with Dimitri Van den Bergh with an added incentive as he chases that title.
Van den Bergh's ranking on the ProTour Order of Merit means that he has already qualified for a World Championship spot, meaning that if he defeats Payne then a third place will be available in the PDPA Qualifier.
The winner of the PDPA Qualifier will secure a spot in the first round of the World Championship, with the runner-up (and third-placed player if applicable) going into the preliminary round draw.
The draw for the preliminary round will be made on Sunday night following the World Youth Championship final, with the tournament's first round draw to be made at approximately 6.30pm on Monday November 27 live on Sky Sports News.

Just had a proper look at the entry list, on his form in the last couple of months I reckon Aspinall could do alright if he gets through.Rogg wrote:Well that depends, there is a huge range of possibilities at this qualifier, from De Zwaan to MUFFINMAN. But I fear it's gonna be Andy Boulton and Wayne Jones, or equivalents.

In that case, Portela is guaranteed a place in the first round proper, Kantele will also definitely be in the first round if Payne winsRogg wrote:Some stuff confirmed here.
