Premier League Darts 2018

Post by BeppeBergomi » Sun May 21, 2017 10:13 am

Three days after the end of this year's Premier League Darts and we are already looking for the 2018 edition of the Premier League Darts as Uncle Barry will also take us in Germany for one of these Premier League Nights, (Does this make as from now Max Hopp as one of the favourites to get the nodd for next year?)

If Max Hopp is at one of these PL nights, it's because he's either in the crowd or working behind the bar.

I think it's clear that Hearn wants to push Hopp as they need a decent German player to make an even bigger boom in Germany, which is a huge market. Like they did with snooker in China.
But I don't think they would include Hopp in the PL unless he's good enough (and he's not even close at the moment). Him being cannon fodder to the big guns would hardly create a spectacle.

They shouldn't in my opinion do so. Gurney and Price deserve a place for example in the Premier League class of 2018. So does Mensur.

But then it's still too early to start speculating on who will make the grade.

More over, I wonder which venue had to make way for Berlin....

If they give any player a wildcard based on one venue, they are morons.

Plenty of time for Durrant to be offered a place if he switches.

Watching the ET events I think the krauts have latched onto plenty of non german players. Wright and Whitlock seem to be very popular at the moment, and of course they always have Barney and MvG to slurp up. Difference between a dutchie and a kraut is just a border and a pair of wooden shoes.

Durrant looks like he's been dragged out of one of the ovens Hopp was using.

You've never watched Holland v Germany in a football match, I take it?

Careful, that's the official world champion you're talking about.
