What you have to decide is why are there any rules at all. If you agree there should be rules then you must agree that the rules are there to protect all the players equally. If you think it is a good idea that these rules will protect you equally with everyone else, how on earth can you even accept this situation because next time you will be the one that actions like this will be to your detriment and then the lack of not having any rules will affect you and where do you go, who do you go to to protect your rights. I can tell you no where and to no one because there will be no rules only an invitation if your face fits
It doesn't matter who.is representing you if the executive can ignore/manipulate the legally set rules of the company at the AGM, which whilst it may benefit in the short term half a dozen players their benefit is to the detriment of every other player in the system.
My job at the meeting is to protect my 1100 members so that they all get equal opportunities and are treated equally with every other player from where ever irrespective of personal friendships
They are doing something underhanded they are ignoring their own rules they are not allowed to do this there is a rule in place which restrict any changes unless they are submitted to the members who will after due scrutiny decide by a vote whether the current rules should be changed not a notice on the website. If the change of rules they have done have merit why would they be afraid to put it before the members???

they are not allowed to do this by ruling passed at the AGM. I say again this time it suits certain players to the detriment of every other player in the system and why they implemented their own rules until today to retrospectively ignore them for what reason because one or two players have had a moan what about the thousands who haven't and what rule will.be ignored next and to benefit who

The funny thing is, for last year's World Trophy they already did the ranking points exactly the way they have now decided to do it for all TV events (points for first-round losers except wildcards), but nobody actually seemed to notice that it was in contravention of the must-win-one-game rule. Now they're simply making it official, and hell breaks loose again.
