Time Line for BDO WDT 2015 held Feb 26:
Sept 2014 just under 4 weeks before qualifiers for the event to be held; the following items announced: Slashed prize fund, format, selection criteria.

Jan 22 5 weeks before event line up confirmed after 4 players went over to the PDC

Feb 12 2015 2 weeks before event TV Coverage announced, in 2014 TV announced 4 weeks before event.

A few days before the event Winmaue to the rescue as major sponsor.


Time Line for BDO WDT 2016 held May 28:
April 7 6 weeks before the event announcement of new partnership with promoter, venue confirmed Victoria Warehouse Mancs, TV deal, and tix to go on sale. Qualifiers announced to be held in Wolves, time and date nothing more. Announced that press conference following week in London to provide details on new promotoer and TV deal, this never happened.

About the same time Larry Butlers wife believes Larry is selected to attend WDT based on criteria presented in an email sent by Williams. In all fairness Butlers wife reading comprehension and Williams writing skill are both shit. This results in confusion with Butlers believing he is in and Williams just as certain he is out. Ginge being the clever red headed bastard with the skill in deciphering the piss poor writing of Sue Williams; attempts to explain this all to Mrs Butler.

April 22 Victoria Warehouse requested to be released from contract with BDO as BDO breached the contract by non payment. This is all kept hush hush for a week, but Sue Williams was gracious enough to let everyone know she cocked up the booking for the delegates meeting.

April 24 5 weeks before event Williams clarifies that Butler is not invited after Mrs Butler believing he was and the criteria was Ginge tried to explain to her 2 weeks prior.

April 29 4 weeks to go and prize fund finally announced and players invited. And surprise surprise event moved to Lakeside and new tickets to go on sale. Dave TV confirmed for broadcast. Mrs Butler still seething.

May 26 2 days before the event Sport Direct announced as major sponsor.

So relax people no reason to panic 11 weeks still to go before the event goes off, so based on prior years everything is well ahead of schedule to lose another $150k
