You'd assume so. I know many like the Double In aspect, but it makes me less interested.

The only reason the event is in Dublin in the first place is because of a bad fucking pun ("double in" = Dublin").
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

My initial thought was this is shit.............

however on reflection it means those like beaton jenkins etc who quyalify for these events, get the second round minimum pay day before losing now wont topping off the oom, the impetus on them to win is not greater as you say.

A positive move.

As for the qualifiers, agree with the most part, except I dont think the eastern europe and nordic qualifier will offer anything.
Expect that to bomb and see it changed for 2018

Unlike pieter the nazi, and darts1000 and all the retarded inbred dutch cunts I am not clouded by some moronic and parochial nationalism bullshit, and getting rid of the Irish qualifiers is no harm.

They are not good enough.

As for it moving to a new venue, maybe, but it always gets a decent crowd in dublin and the general feeling seems to be the players love Ireland.
I suspect if this was moved to say germany there would be a lot of grumbling

If I remember right the year they cut the Irish qualifiers from four to two was the same year Dolan started qualifying by right.

They changed the Irish thing from 4 to 2 for the 2011 WGP. Dolan and O'Connor qualified through it that year. Dolan reached the final, hitting a 9-darter along the way apparently. :|

Dolan first qualified by right in 2012.

As for all the nations the irish qualifyers should take place in Ireland but in a different city

why Dublin all the time . Same here in Scotland as why renfrew all the time ?

Other parts of each nation should get the same chance for having such closer to their homes

and a switch around here n there is only right for all.

Remember i want to be extraordinary, and just want to fit in , unfortunately extraordinary people rarely fit in.

Time for some other country to host a PDC Major, Wouldn't mind seeing WGP stay in Ireland; but move an event to Netherlands.

Give it time mate, I think there will be darts majors in every continent a few years from now

The darts' base is in England so I agree that the top competitions should remain in the UK but if some competitions would shift from England to eg Holland I won't mind that... As long as the quality remains the same...

Worst decision I've ever heard, you work hard all year round to achieve the benefits of being inside the top 16.... no prize money on Oom is pathetic, so players in top 16 that are automatically in TV events shouldn't have any prize money on Oom if they lose first game.... JOKE

It does seem like the players that have worked there way into the top 16 are being punished for it?
