How about a 2nd league as an alternative to the Premier League?

The #11 to #18 of the OOM take part.

8 weeks of darts in different smaller venues (1500 seats max).

4 best of nine games every week for 7 weeks.
The 4 best of the league stage square off in a final week.
The league is televised or streamed.

The winner gets a 30,000 pound sterling prize and is guarenteed a PL sport next year.
The runner up gets 15,000
The #3 and 4 get 10,000
The #5 to #8 get 6,000

Total prize money: 99,000 pound sterling

The players get extra stage experience.

How about a league with 2x8 players.
Every week 5 matches are televised, and 3 are not. After 7 weeks the 4 best players of each league progress to a new league with 8 players. After another 7 weeks the 4 best players progress to the final week.
