No Tokyo this year, and if you look at the last year's calendar, you might get an idea on the dates. July and August should have the most of the WS tournaments I guess.BeppeBergomi wrote:The World Series of Darts Opens in Dubai, Auckland, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney and Perth.skweezit wrote:which ones?BeppeBergomi wrote:Any idea re the dates of the Tournaments please?

An idea yes. I was wondering whether the official dates were out or not. I know we're off to Vegas in mid July before the Matchplay though....The Thorn wrote:No Tokyo this year, and if you look at the last year's calendar, you might get an idea on the dates. Re: World series 2017
Gurney confirmed on the dartsweekly podcast that he'll be playing one World Series event. So we got Gurney, Hopp and Benito(?) dropping in for one event each.
How they gonna do this then? Have a core of 7 PDC players who play every event and rotate the 8th place? Or have 8 as normal, but with one player getting (choosing?) to take a break from each event.

Re: World series 2017
MVG said early January his wife is pregnant, so it's likely the child will born in august/september. It would not surprise me if MVG decides to not attend the World Series events in Oceania.

It would finally give somebody else the chance to win.... (Hopefully a certain Scottish World Champion or, if he decides to go, a certain legend who'll be retiring at the end of this season)...Pieter wrote:MVG said early January his wife is pregnant, so it's likely the child will born in august/september.
