Disgraceful from Fitton. Why is he playing in the Grand Slam if that's how he feels? I've long been okay with BDO players in the Grand Slam, but if this is the attitude among BDO players, the Grand Slam needs to be PDC only next year. If the BDO players want the money, leave the BDO, join Q School and work your way up.

Fitton is up the backside of the players and what they want of course he was going to go full mushroom. He can't make it in the PDC. BDO is all he has so keep out the competition at all cost this is a.k.a The Dwarf Maneuvr.

In reality, it was the BDO under Olly Croft's autocratic leadership that completely stagnated professional darts. Not content with just that, he was determined to ruin any chances the WDC rebels had in darts anywhere, and any players that associated with them. Terry Jenkins, later to come to fame in the PDC himself, was forced out of darts for a few years in the early period after the infamous April 1993 Finchley meeting. Associating with rebel players was an expulsion offence in the BDO rules from 1993-1997. Phil Taylor's cousin, a Staffordshire county player, was even warned not to fit a door at Phil's house! And the BDO wonder why there's still some bitterness?

- Darryl Fitton et al. are doing the PDC a favour by accepting their invitations to the Grand Slam
- "PDC players" participating in BDO tournaments are exploiting a loophole that shouldn't exist
