How do you define a relevant "major" in 2017? I would say some combination of TV coverage, prize money and prestige. You could argue Lakeshite, and if you are being generous the Masters based on historic value.

But what other events do they have that tick those boxes? The World Trophy has little historic value, crap prize money, and dismal TV coverage.
