Diamond wire boards are actually worse than round wire boards. In my experience the wire frequently gets turned under the staple and creates a flat surface which is then wider and doesn't not deflect a dart around it. Pounding a round wire flat with a dart is a much harder proposition than getting the wires turned. Maybe Nodor has improved those boards but honestly shows how stupid the cunts are to as a sponsor supply the shittiest board they make. Yes I want my company to highlight its crappiest products to the most likely customers. I don't think the price difference in these boards to Nodor is substantial enough to make it worth it to supply the crappy boards.

The only player out of that mob who adds anything to the hype around the event is Durrant. Being the Lakeside champ there is a modicum of interest in how he'll fare against the best in the PDC. Last time it was being comfortably beaten by Barney's B game.
The rest are more of a "who's that?" of the darting world rather than a who's who.
