If what is being talked about around events in regards to the World Champs. It could well be the last event on TV for the BDO. Really hope not, but money is needed to pay prize funds and tv companies.

They should ask @BarryHearn to buy the BDO again and let him have the World Pro title and get the BDO back up to scratch as the grass roots of darts and the PDC feeder system which it is now.

I’m glad no offence Barry you do a great job with pdc but bdo needs to be more grass roots than commercial. It just needs a better person at the Helm than the one it’s got.

No problem. Bdo grassroots is a job for someone else. Too busy with Pdc and with the development and challenge tours plus q school and junior darts investment
I’m not sure the grassroots that are left are relevant to the pro Game.

Bdo is for the people that just want a choice at weekends to go out and play darts without having to pay a lot of money to join. I think your comments was making working class people who play on a different system irrelevant. They are relevant they are grass roots.

No problem. They are not relevant in a playing capacity to the pro game but they enjoy their darts at the level they play at. Sport is for all.

he meant it as in he not been seen much on tv lately, Mardle said Lewis hadn't done an interview in about a century and Lewis laughed and said "someone asked me if I was in the BDO"
