He would have won zero majors with the likes of Taylor, RVB, Wade around in the late 00s. I mean, is he really better now than Terry Jenkins and Merv King were between 2007 and 2009? Doubtful.

And there probably weren't enough TV majors held in the early and mid 2000s for him to win more than one in that timeframe. The likes of Manley, Scholten, Warriner, etc, could only salvage one major each. Part and Lloyd had a bit more success between 2003 and 2006, but even they were cannon fodder for Taylor at most events during that period.
