Dave Parletti @Parletti180
That’s quality mate..... We have shared a county stage, Played for our Countries together, now this..... chuffed for you lad X
I find it funny how Kenny doesn't appear to particularly give a shit yet Parletti is acting as if it's the second coming of Christ.

If Prague's favourite hospital patient gets to Lakeside he'll have an brain aneurysm, such will be the excitement.

Yep that contrast is amusing :) Kenny had a violent headache after that exchange, no question. Edit: ...Dave.

Reckon he'd end up being the first darts player ever who signs the board before the game.

He's probably going to get an extra extra large BDO badge embroidered on his Matalan shirt in time for Lakeside.

Quick look through the results of those Wolverhampton competitions and Parletti beat Newton and Hamilton in the semifinals of each event.

Some downfall for the two ex-PL players.

Or as stated elsewhere, "Newton back at the business end of a decent comp."

11/12 of the BDO's top 16 players didn't bother with these two events.

Hammer got himself an eye on the piss palace now, my word...

The Hammer @TheHammer180
Ok weekend overall, last 16 Saturday & pleased but not satisfied with a semi final today, but it’s all good progress another 24 points on the rankings which I think puts me just outside top32? Thanks again to everyone for the support and thanks to my sponsors

Prelim-round Lakeside money will pay for his Q School and Challenge Tour entries next year.

Still quite a bit of work to do though...27th place in the seasonal ranking was at 145 points before the weekend, and he's at 111 now. Three more boxes to fill, after that he'll need to improve on what he's already scored. I see he's on the entry list for the Luxembourg double-header in a couple of weeks. Cat B like the Wolves events, but the field looks a bit stronger in Luxembourg. No Durrant/McGeeney though, so probably wide open.

For those who don't care about Hamilton's BDO adventures (I couldn't blame you) - van Tergouw's also on the Luxembourg entries.

Van Tergouw must be about 40 by now. I'd almost forgotten about him.

More Hammer, he really means it:

Joshua Hermann @ThePhantom180 21h
Will you play the Belgium Darts Masters in August? Would be a pleasure to meet you

The Hammer @TheHammer180
The 4th and 5th of August? I’ll be there

you're going to be sick now (unless you are John Part)

Keith Deller @KDeller138
Another Debate. Should all former world champions play off for 1 spot for Ally Pally. Now that is a great idea?

It would just give Taylor a free pass into the Worlds for the next 4-5 years. Don't want to see him or anyone else there if they aren't playing the tour. Only other former champs not qualifying are Priestley and Part so a playoff would be a bit pointless IMO

I presume they would let Burnett, Wallace, Ted, Walton, Fordham enter on account of them being former BDO World Champions.

It will never happen anyway.

Part wouldn't get his fat ass to his assigned board within the required time. Priestly has too much integrity to take a give me, Phith still spending good pile of money so he won't show up. The rest fucking paper champions whose titles are worth less than a ladies used sanitary napkin.

Stupid fucking idea sport championships are about the best of the season not the best of yester year.

Agree, the PDC is way past this kind of shit now
