I've always said all PDC World Champions should be in the Worlds, like they do at The Open golf with their past winners. That would add 3 to the field. Then invite the BDO World Champ. Duzza has already basically said he'd be interested.

Disagree with this. Sure it'd be decent fun, but I don't think the PDC needs that bit of extra hype right now. I just wouldn't punish players who tried all year to get some hasbeens in the event. Play the tour or fuck off.
I wouldn't be opposed to giving the BDO champ a tour card but not a free place at Ally Pally. Let him earn it.
Was Taylor talking about the next Worlds or in general? I assume he wouldn't be able to get in the 2019 one as the criteria has been announced and there are no places left.
Durrant said in a short interview that he'd play at Ally Pally if he was given the chance. Also said how amazing the World Matchplay was, sucking up to the PDC etc.
I thought it was interesting that the tournament sponsors, people affiliated with the PDC would pose this question to him.
