Nothing against Scousers but there's a reason why the rest of the UK takes the piss out them constantly.

Re: Rogg's Twatter Watch
Such a strange, cluttered interpretation, isn't it? Many tournaments use the word 'World'... well anyway.

He's a clown, so entitled. Last month he was crying about having to travel to play the Autumn Series saying the players should't have to take risks but he was fine with the foreign players having to travel for everything so far and in his eyes for everything in the foreseeable.
Nobody had a gun to his head he was free to opt out like Gary did if he wished but obviously not.

Same as Smith seem like they have the approach of I'm entitled to everything

I agree with the criticisms toward the entitlement attitude. But otoh lets be honest that attitude has long been engrained in darts in all codes. Not justifying just saying it exists and honestly the PDC hasn't done enough to quash it. Sad to see it coming from the young players.

Re: Rogg's Twatter Watch
in the past, the world youth champion always got an invite into the world series, right?
It may have changed last year?

Hm. That has never happened as far as I know.
They have been given a Grand Slam invite for several years now, as will Humph this year.

Re: Rogg's Twatter Watch
since the world series tournies began, keegan brown, max hopp, cory cadby and dimitri van den bergh all participated in the world series finals following their youth championship wins.
only exception was last year (dimi again).
I don't know, maybe they all played their way in? I don't remember.

Re: Rogg's Twatter Watch
I'd say Brown either played himself in through qualifiers or is from far back enough that they were still pushing the World Youth more. There are other growing market and profile reasons to have had the others you listed in.skweezit wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 4:43 amsince the world series tournies began, keegan brown, max hopp, cory cadby and dimitri van den bergh all participated in the world series finals following their youth championship wins.

I looked it up yesterday but I've forgotten it all now.skweezit wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 4:43 amsince the world series tournies began, keegan brown, max hopp, cory cadby and dimitri van den bergh all participated in the world series finals following their youth championship wins.

In 2018, I know Dimitri qualified for the WS Finals via the mini OoM as he'd reached a final in that year's series (losing to Suljovic in a German football ground). He wasn't there as youth world champion as such.

I would rule out that possibility, Christopher.
Would even put some money on it.
