Any comment about the pdc champion being battered by the bdo champion who has never won a pdc major?

No offence to him whatsoever, but by this logic, Jeffrey de Zwaan is also one of the best players in the world.

At least Jeffrey turned up for his Matchplay semi-final last year and didn't surrender from the off unlike Glen last night.

Lewis and wade didnt show up.
Mvg was so slow away that durrant relaxed into it and played well to close it out.
Hit with the Smith heavy artillery early doors last night he looked bewildered but who wouldn't?
He walks away from Blackpool with his standing massively enhanced however you look at it.

Live Darts @livedarts
"If you're 20 or 30 you can say "I've gained experience there" but when you're 50 next year you nab them times." @Duzza180 on his Semi-Final disappointment

Could be worse, Glen. Mitchell is also 50 next year and he's still got fingers crossed for De:Luxe.

I thought Durrant said that he had a 10-year plan in the PDC? If so, there is no need for doom and gloom. He's not ready to win a PDC major yet, but that was a good experience of getting some very good wins and what he needs to improve going forward. More consistency needed, more power scoring when under pressure.

IMO Durrant is clearly a top 16 player possibly top 10 The way the ranking work doesn’t reflect his ability.
I can’t think of a former BDO player ( well possibly Barney) who has been under more scrutiny. Yet he has two wins already on the floor and reached the semis of the 2nd biggest event. I can see him regularly getting to the QF stage and I believe he will win a PDC major in the next 2 years.
