Shame about Ricky he always seemed a decent lad.
But results weren't going his way at all, understandable decision.
Who knows, maybe going back to working may be just what he needs. Plenty of players don't need to practise all day to play well.

When the going gets tough, its an easy way out, I expect the PIC are cunts for allowing this to happen

I've just checked, and Ricky Evans is currently number 50 in the Order of Merit with £65,500 won in prize money during the last two years. How the heck can you be struggling to make ends meet?

Only £12,750 earned since February, and won't be at the World's to defend his 2nd Rd from 2016. Not heading in the right direction.

Best of luck to him though, if he's good enough, he'll be back.

Will the other #bdo players let Jeff Smith play in the Finder Masters as he recieved a wildcard for this ? #darts #pdc

Can his wildcard be withdrawn? Still plenty of time to find an obscure rule to adulterate

Who left can take the moral high ground?
Certainly not the toss or the farmer.
