Mitchell admitting the PDC is better.

“I won with a 15-dart leg and bull finish. Gary says he hit a 180 but didn’t say as he didn’t think anyone would believe him! That’s the difference between us. He’s so naturally talented but I have to really work at my game. That’s why I’m not ready to join the PDC yet.

Also using the Martin Adams loyalty excuse later on.

I like mitchell in the same way i like honest players like wayne jones etc, nothing special, just seem good lads that do the best they can.

Mitchell when asked at lakeshite about the pdc showed none of the old guard bitterness and pettiness that spineless, hobo, warty etc normally show

I can see Mitchell switching next year. He just wants to take a shot at defending his Lakeside title, which is fair enough imo. If/when he is beaten at Lakeside next year (more likely than not), then I'd say you could quite possibly see him at Q School the week thereafter.

As has been said, Mitchell clearly doesn't have the old guard bitterness and he knows that the PDC is the next step in darts.

I can fully understand him staying a year, milking what he can as a champion, he knows he aint no bunting let alone ando so is making the best of where he is, he not only earned 3 times his career earning at lakeshite this year, but he does not have to treavel to the shitholes of europe to pick up points no, can see on his fat arse and take the cheque next year and then give it a go

the last few lakeside champs have all spoke well of the pdc, why wouldn't they as they couldn't get over there quick enough.

excluding wolfie obviously, the bitter twisted 1980s dwelling cunt.

Mitchell and Ando did that radio interview together, havent listened to it but by all accounts they were pally with each other, if Mitchell had any sense he would be trying to arrange a few exbos with Ando, both champs together would be a decent selling point.
