Sherdog forums don't load on my laptop (unsupported protocol), but this was after the UFC wouldn't sign him and he had to go to ONE FC.

If Chandler's going to say stupid shit like that, then obviously he's going to bring that sort of reaction.

I still don't think anyone would be stupid enough to suggest that a very good professional fighter would be afraid to fight someone better than him. The only exception would be if it was someone like Ngannou or Rumble who made a habit of knocking people unconscious with ease, but there would be little to no danger of Khabib doing that to anyone.

Bringing it back to Adams, I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to suggest that he was afraid to play the best players in the PDC, but rather that he made the best choice for himself and vindicated his choice as being correct by winning three Lakesides and three Masters. It's worth noting that he never claimed to be better than the best in the PDC.

It's funny that the same people who throw out the Spineless rhetoric think that he's vastly over-rated as a player. If he was incapable of being successful in the PDC, as these people would suggest, then surely staying in the BDO was a masterstroke of genius.

I don't believe that Chandler or Askren were scared to go to the UFC btw (both eventually did anyway). I'm only arguing, as with Adams, that some fans argued that they were scared to jump to the big league.

As for Adams himself, I don't think he was scared to attend Q School this year. I think age and possibly his anti-PDC stance were the main reasons. I do think he took the safe option of staying with the BDO after Barney left though. Probably for the reasons you underlined.

Dutch news outlet with a topic on matchfixing in darts, and it seems to be prevalent in the Netherlands more than elsewhere. A few players have been approached, among which Niels Zonneveld, Maik Kuivenhoven and someone who prefers to stay anonymous.
Good to see you back. Stick around this time, although your resignation statements from

Who would win the prize of biggest moron in "darts journalism" Pieter or Barrs?
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

I was going to suggest he find an editor but after this sentence I'm recommending a brain surgeon.

You should write an article about darts' mental game.
