Seen that from multiple sources today. With the walk-on girls ban, it seems that the powers that be are sensitive to current trends, I can't imagine they'll be lenient with Lewis now

Can someone explain the article by Burton DeWitt about Darren Webster being in top 16?

http://dartsnews.com/darren-webster-mov ... end-wigan/

His figures done match up at all with the PDC OOM which are up to date after Uk open qualifier 3

Am I missing something?

It's the provisional ranking per July 2nd which will used for entry into the World Matchplay. Webster is defending less money than others between now and July, so is set to move up compared to the current rankings.

Says they may have suspended the wrong player. Marker should have intervened if the Spanish lad was acting the cunt. No need to defend Lewis in this situation, no matter what happened to him, you can't fucking assault your opponent like that

They were right to suspend Fatpot, but they do need to look into why it happened in the first place!

Mr Lewis has been suspended since the incident.

He admitted breaching the DRA Rules and received a three month suspension from competing which is suspended for six months.

Dear lord, let it go you big jelly. Dignity.

Adrian Lewis Statement

https://www.pdc.tv/news/2018/02/08/adri ... -statement
ADRIAN LEWIS has issued the following statement on Thursday February 8, further to the incident which occurred in Coral UK Open Qualifier One on Friday February 2.

Adrian Lewis said:
I am now in a position to issue a statement as the due process has taken place and the Darts Regulation Authority have had their hearing.

I deeply regret that my frustrations got the better of me as I felt that my opponent was trying to provoke me.

I realise now that I should have reported any problems to Tournament Officials instead of confronting Jose Antonio Justicia Perales after the match.

I would like to offer my sincere apologies to the PDC, the sponsors of the event Coral, my own sponsors who I thank for their loyalty and support, my manager, darts fans and finally my family.

I would like to say a big thank you for all of the kind messages sent to me from all over the World, and now I just want to put this all behind me and concentrate of playing the game I love and trying to make my way back to the top.

Extremely fortunate in my view. Now let's see what he makes of it on the dart board.

Lardy boy should have been banned outright for at least 6 months and given a much bigger fine imo.
No apology to his opponent and shifts the blame on him with the provocation bit.....twat :|

A harsher punishment for Fatpot would have been to prevent him from going to the head of the buffet line.

There's no way Lewis wrote that, he'd have trouble spelling Jose never mind the rest of his name.

soft from the DRA

I'm still struggling to see what the Spanish lad did wrong. Ok he laughed in Lewis face after the first bit of verbals but who wouldn't

To me Lewis actions were that of something is feeling the pressure
