He'd probably get to a few finals.

Glen Durrant on his PDC World Championships campaign, new walk-on song & his aim for 2020

I would take anything Taylor says regarding a comeback with a huge pinch of salt.

I bet he loves the idea of coming back and giving MvG et al a bloody nose, but the actual application of it, having to put in the hard yards on the floor, with no guarantee of actually beating the big names, keeps him safely on the exbo circuit

Would be very funny if he just turned up at one of the uk open pub qualifiers and scared the bejesus out of everyone.
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

Smithys number one and (definitely not) only hater.

That's a fascinating idea. If he wants a bit of the old fairy dust to come his way without having to commit too seriously... doors would open.

Peter Wright’s romantic tale from darts nearly man to world champion

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/ ... hips-darts
Almost everything is different. For one thing the BBC graphic bills him as English, not Scottish. The throwing motion is not taut and measured but quick and impetuous. The hair is not spiked into a lurid Mohican but sensibly gelled and tousled, making him look less an elite sportsman and more the backing singer in an Irish pop group. The year is 1995 and, as a 24‑year‑old Peter Wright loses 3-1 against Ritchie Burnett in the first round at Lakeside, there is virtually nothing to suggest that we are watching a future world champion in the gestation.

Only Glenda could make drama out of a last ditch qschool match, the most important match of his life, along with a thousand other matches. 3x BDO champ makes hard work of qschool and it is a milestone.

Fucking drama queen still worried about his walk on music. Walk on music ffs. Who gives a shit but some reason he thinks his ability to play and succeed is dependent on some shitty two bit tune. What big girls blouse glenda is.

One thing he has got right is he understands his time is very limited. Prior interview he gives himself 5 years before he is done. Don't think he will last that long as a real contender by year 3 he will be just another player like Beaton.

She'd still make less money than the £100 for winning the Women's title

Can already hear the excuses ready to be wheeled out next week... New venue, unforeseen expenses , let down at last minute by sponsors...all be sorted for 2021..
You could not burn the neck ot the 2 in charge with an acetylene torch...My other prediction...boom boom Bennet to accidentally fall off that top of the stairs at the top of the walk on ,anybody else noticed how dodgy that looks ..

Even Wolfie thinks the BDO are fucked

“It would be a very sad day if it was the last BDO worlds.

“Some personalities need to move on from their current positions as they aren’t doing the BDO any good.”

BDO chairman Des Jacklin refused to confirm the prize money for first-round losers.
