New Matt Porter interview, always find these interesting but it’s cringe watching how Barrs tiptoes around him.

Everytime Porter gives some sort of rebuttal “ohhhh nah I just thought it was interesting cos a lot of people have been talking about it” grow a pair of bollocks Barrs and be able to ask him difficult questions without shitting yourself

Oche was not alone in having immense code problems this week. It's bloody awful when politicians pretend to be people. https://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-league/61999786

Culture secretary Nadine Dorries confused the two rugby codes in a speech at a Rugby League World Cup event in St Helens on Thursday.

Dorries thought Jonny Wilkinson's 2003 winning drop-goal for England against Australia in rugby union's World Cup final took place in rugby league.

"I've always quite liked the idea of rugby league," Dorries said in her speech.

"My long-standing memory is that 2003 drop-goal."

She added: "We were drinking Bloody Marys at the time. Wow, what a moment that was."

Klaasen.
https://dartsnews.com/wdf/klaasen-wont- ... ally-pally

But while Lakeside is there, his big goal is still to return to the PDC and that he will decline the invite to Frimley Green if he comes through the Associate Qualifier for the PDC edition.

"I just saw this year as playing the big WDF tournaments and try to qualify for Lakeside. It wasn't my goal as my goal is still to qualify for Ally Pally and get a Tour Card, if I would qualify for Ally Pally, I don't play Lakeside. It's a nice bonus if I can't make Ally Pally."

Perfectly reasonable view for any ambitious dart player

Quite funny he wants the Q School rules changed because he played dogshit though, the cream will always rise to the top I think and this year off the tours probably done Klaasen good, he will be back soon enough

Nothing wrong with him recognizing that Q School is a crapshoot, but he hasn't done much in 10 tournaments on the Challenge Tour either (ranked 30 in prize money, 69 in the averages), otherwise he'd have been able to play most of the Pro Tour to date. And the only reason Q School decides "the whole next two years" for veteran tour players like him to begin with is that they bombed for two years prior to that. Don't see much recognition of that fact by him.

No idea what "Associate qualifier" the Dartsnews writer thinks Klaasen is going to play in, either. Short of getting his ass in gear and winning the Challenge Tour, his only route into Ally Pally will be the West Europe qualifier where he'll end up facing plenty of other Dutch players who actually do have a card.

Oh yeah, in actual Associate qualifier action, he played 9 qualifiers to the European Tour so far:

3 wins away, 1 win away, 4 wins away, 5 wins away, 4 wins away, qualified, 5 wins away, 5 wins away, 4 wins away
