That would be correct.

when is the last time Darin Young has played a WDF or BDO event outside the borders of USA? He has qualified for Masters a bunch of times in the past and hasn't attended. He has no interest in that. He will however go all the way around the world to play in a soft tip event, more than likely because his sponsors pay for it. Darin is one of those guys who shows the fuck up for the money, it is that simple for him.
darin stated a long time ago he would not play in the BDO events. (ours don't count because they are open to all)
still, I hoped he would do the World cup because that is actually a wdf event.
he still plays the American darts (widdies). no money in that.

lol those BDO events don't count because they are typically the biggest events in the USA. Believe what you want but both of them have said their decisions on what to attend it based mainly on the payouts. They don't travel to small events anymore, I think she said anything less than 10k in total purse they don't bother with. 15k and better they go to.

Vegas fleetwood event gets in the 250 range for mens singles. That is by far the biggest event held here in the U.S. of A.
The other BDO events get far less than this but far more than other American events. Typically these BDO sanctioned events are getting in the area of 150 for mens singles.

maybe I wasn't clear enough in my statement? happy to rephrase it for you, can man. not counting bdo events here,
darin doesn't play in the big BDO events overseas (that he may qualify for) and he said that he wouldn't a long time ago.
is that less murky?

see that today's and tomorrow's Superdart 2017 in Japan is paying out $90,000 to the winner.
If I remember right, every winner of this grand poobah soft tip tournament has always been invited into the PDC World championships.
(it's not held every year and the site is under reconstruction so can't doublecheck)

The PDC\Dartslive deal ran out. They didn't have a pick in 2017 WC.

see that Keita Ono (Japan) bested Scott kirchner (USA) in the Superdart 2017 finals.

Keita Ono missed getting his pdc tour card this year and has previously played in the PDC's world cup and world championships.

Even on that board the BDO players would still not manage to average over 90

Results from this weekend's Virginia Beach Classic & Pro Cricket Shoot.

The unofficial and unauthorized "Cricket Champion of the Entire Milky Way Galaxy" is Tom Curtain who destroyed Jeff Smith in the final 6-1

The 501 crown went to Joe Huffman, who averaged 100+ in the finals against Steve Brenneman. A 100+ average!!!
Steve Brenneman shot a 9-darter in the semis against Jeff smith. A 9=darter!!!
The normal cricket singles title went to Leonard "soldier" Gates who also beat Jeff Smith.

Now that is proper darts and good to hear coming out of North America. Ok it was only the best of 7 legs but still a fine accomplishment by both Huffman and Brenneman.

not sure nor care, on the pdc side I remember last year when the PDC was using one of my designs , the world map one, and were advertising the channels , i recall at least 5 stations in europe, oz ans new zealand were covered, as was the us and canada and iberia.

Off course with streams anyone from the artic circle to the gobi desert with an internet feed can watch pdc darts now
