I saw this Boris guy in this week's European Championships (soft) all over the results sites, wonder why he doesn't play East Europe Qs

Can't really recall him ever playing steel tip tbh. Based on these results he could be all right, but then again he probably has some decent earnings from soft tip so maybe doesn't see the need to switch

Boris (Croatian Cunt) did play PDC events prior to like 2015. He actually made Ally Pally and did the WC (can't remember the years 2011 or 2010?) Didn't embarrass himself especially in relation to some of the international qualifiers. Boris being a cunt is one of the soft tip players I actually don't mind watching. He does some stupid ass stuff vis a vis strategy, but he is good enough to get away with it most of the time.

That aside one thing many don't realize or maybe don't think about, is the difference in the steel game and soft shit is the size of the targets is an equalizer for the soft cunts. i.e. increasing the size of the targets in soft shit increases the size of the talent pool that can compete with say the top players (further in i.e. weaker players have a better shot of competing in soft shit than they would say in steel with the smaller targets. This advantage for the weaker player is increased in the case of solid bull play. So cricket is the game that really separates the quality; this is where the split bull is used, of player in the soft tip shit)

So even tho the Croatian Cunt stands head and shoulders above the rest of the soft tip shit (as does Paul Lim) they really are just avg at the steel side of the game (and I am being generous here).

Boris has potential for the steel side of things but he will never realize it if he keeps fucking around with the soft shit. The money is better for him there on the soft side because he is a force and hoovers up alot of dosh. But overall the better payouts and way more chances in the PDC. Zeyes could probably elaborate more on the payout difference as he follows the soft side far more than I do.

Krcmar played in the Eastern Europe version of PDC Europe's Super League for a couple of years, with extremely average results if I remember correctly. Basically he's not much better than the likes of Marijanovic or any of the Rodriguezes, which probably tells you all you need to know about the quality of the soft-tip fields given how dominant he is there. So basically, as cannibal said: Krcmar/Lim (and arguably also Lam, plus Asada who didn't play today) >>>>>> pretty much everybody else. But being a top 4 guy in soft-tip worldwide pays better than being top 64 in steel, which is probably what they'd be if they dedicated themselves.

Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) darts player, Kevin McDine, has been suspended from all sport for a period of two years following an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV).

Mr McDine tested positive for the presence of the prohibited substance benzoylecgonine (a metabolite of cocaine), following an In-Competition test on 27 November 2017, during a World Championship PDPA Qualifier event in Milton Keynes.

The Darts Regulatory Authority (DRA) contracted UKAD to carry out testing at the event, as UKAD conducts only contracted testing for darts.

Mr McDine was charged with an ADRV pursuant to Article 2.1 of the Anti-Doping Rules – “Presence of a Prohibited Substance or its Metabolites or Markers in an Athlete’s Sample”.

UKAD’s Director of Operations, Pat Myhill, said: “All athletes must adhere to the principle of strict liability, and should be aware that a violation will occur whether they have intentionally or unintentionally used a prohibited substance.”

The period of ineligibility shall apply from the date of sample collection (27 November 2017) until midnight on 26 November 2019.
