It's tough to play 2 events a day but it's also tough for a complete amateur to travel that distance to play 1 game a day. The vast majority of the CT players will never have a tour card, let alone be a full time pro.
A fullly seeded Pro Tour is complete insanity though.
So 30 Challenge Tours/30 Pro Tour events.

What a bunchof fuckiing moaning marrys. It is darts ffs it isnt physically draining. Mentally it may be hard. But I say toughen up buttercup. Or win the fucking tour card. Ok it may be hard drinking all day but again you have a choice. Either turn into a full on alcoholic or stop drinking. Or fuck off to the BDO.
Seeding on the CT? Probably not a bad idea for the top 16 could live even with top 32. Keep the criteria tho in CT earnings. Past that it is a shit show so again the player has a choice. Fuck off to the BDO or get better and toughen up.
Dart players the weakest moaning cunts bred from the hardest stock of working class cunts.

JDC World Cup was played in Gibraltar today ahead of the ET event there this weekend, Netherlands A featuring Daan Bastiaansen, Owen Roelof, Luke Van Der Kwast, Jurjen van der Velde beat the eternal enemy Netherlands B (Marcel Bus, Danny Jansen, Kevin Lasker, Pim Van Bijnen). A ludicrous News of the World format even for the kids, but some positive signs for the Dutch

And alongside that, the youngsters also have their International Open, Keane Barry beats Nathan Girvan 6-5 in the final with a 100 average. Two Czechs in the semis, Adam Gawlas and Tomas Houdek. Barry was impressive in the World Cup too, very encouraging signs ahead of his date with destiny in Dublin

Re: Random Dart Stuff
If he beats Liam Gallagher then he'll be deemed to have qualified via that route regardless of how he does on the Development Tour, akin to Seigo Asada. On the DT, Meikle holds the second WC place £1,850 ahead of Keane, with Shane McGuirk currently in the second tour card spot (and next in line for the Worlds should Meikle qualify via the ProTour) £1,200 aheadEmulsfier wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 5:42 pmJudging from how he did on the last dev tour week i was watching, i have every confidance Keane will be at the WC via this.thegentle wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 5:13 pmhttps://tv.dartconnect.com/matchlist/jdc19intlopenthegentle wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 9:33 pm https://tv.dartconnect.com/leaguematches/jdcwc

Keane signifigantly ahead of everyone in the averages so far. Nathan Girvan out early doors.
Two names people might remember that are still in are Killian Heffernan and Adam Gormless.

Keane having it easy. Heffernan out while Gormless clings on by the skin of his teeth.
Them two facing off would be the only final worth putting on at the WC.

Barry v Gormless it is. Thank god. Keane played far better throughout the day and should mince him at the palace. So much better he would be competitive in any first round match he might get if he wins in Dublin too.

Gawlas wins, goes to Ally Pally with Keane Barry. What time is the Gibraltar qualifier for tomorrow, Hewitt can't be any worse than the standard fare we get from there

Re: Random Dart Stuff
A breakdown of Top 32 prize money by Ochepedia:
"Ian White derives more than 2/3 of his income from non-TV events; Jamie Lewis gets more than half of his from one tournament alone (2018 WC)."
And a rather strange response:
"OoM should just be a reference list, and points won depending on the length/format of events should determine the true ranking"
I'm lost. Is he wanting some BDO style nonsense?

Or just increase the prize money for the Sky majors. Though that could have an adverse effect too, like the guys who just barely qualify for the majors have too bif an advantage over the ones who are just missing out.

Re: Random Dart Stuff
thanks fiss for posting that. I was thinking of doing this exact thing as I was wondering what the impact of the ET's was on OOM for players.
A couple things stick out to me.
1. The importance of the ranking tv events to income is substantial. What this means is that Mardle is wrong that "ranking doesn't matter". I don't think Mardle meant exactly what he said. I think he meant that ranking doesn't matter once you get into the top 16 so the battles to move up a spot or two aren't the biggest fights to be fought. Ranking matters mainly to income to be in the spot to get the invites and that is important to making a living.
2. MvG, Smith and Cross are far lower on ET earnings to their income than I would have expected. Cullen's ET performances about the only thinking keeping him where he is. White, Price and Mensur using the ET's to good effect. Only if White would stop messing his pants in TV events he could be up more than a few spots in the rankings and even a threat for the PL.
3. The weight of a good run in the WC keeps some players stinking up the place for far too long. Welsh Lewis for one and Dimi for another. Lets be honest many like Dimitri but he really hasn't capitalized on his run. Welsh Lewis was a one off and won't be long before he finds himself in the same spot Mark Webster is in.
4. D Webster and Whitlock showing how you can do fuck all but if you get TV invites enough you can hang on clogging up the works for some time.
5. If Rats and Durrant can get a good run in the WC they will be solidly in the upper parts of the rankings. Expect Durrant more than Rats to have a good run in the WC; as Durrant has been exposed more to the duration of that kind of event and the set play. Not sure Rats has wrapped his head around these two features of the event yet.
