Yeah, once you get caught there's no way out, should have at least fronted up like Nijman. Only has himself to blame, that's his career almost certainly over
At least he didn't go down the John Higgins route.
Vile cunt
I'll take that as a compliment.
The white washing of it by world snooker stank then and it stinks now.
No doubt he brought the game right down. Was never a fan of him anyway.

The holy grail of UK Open footage remains the mincing farmer's from 2007, if someone can find that, then I will say well done, and possibly skim through it.

So yesterday I read an article about an interview Van Gerwen gave to one of our Dutch reporters, in which he jokingly and sarcastically said 'Yeah, Durrant is the best player in the world right now'.
Fair to say, that backfired.

Nay darts.

The World Grand Prix is October 6th.

Here's what's left of September:

I checked that earlier today, they haven't yet planned the Winter Series have they? I'm not even sure if that will go on or not. I don't see any free weeks really unless they want to do it when the Women's Series takes place, but that'd screw over Lisa Ashton big time so they're not doing that.

https://www.skysports.com/darts/news/12 ... g-her-game

Had to smirk at the very last paragraph.

Maria O'Brien is shite
Laura Turner is shite
Deta Hedman will be calling it a day soon, I'm sure.
Anastasia isn't at the level she was once at, when she first came about
Not sure about Lorraine Winstanley but her husband was never really any good

We've read this a lot but sadly the women's game is very top heavy. Big gap between top 4-8 and the rest of the field. Ashton is doing nice on the Pro Tour though, hopefully that and Fallon's success will drive the ladies standard for the long term. The only realistic way for them to improve is to play PDC, be it the main tour, CT or DT. It's a no brainer for the PDC to give the ladies opportunities, but now they need to support the PDC system too, play the tours actually. You can't expect anything if you just turn up for the Worlds qualifier once a year.

Lorraine Winstanley is steady and pretty proven as likely the 5th best women's player on the radar after Suzuki, Ashton, Sherrock and Greaves I would say. I say on the radar as there must be another Suzuki in the shadows somewhere in Asia.

Anastasia really fallen back into the pack behind the last few years with O'Brien and de Graaf, de Graaf on her A game is actually very decent but she is very erratic.

Kasumi Sato is the no.2. Asian I believe. Got to World Masters semis last year and then played Q School
