Re: Random Dart Stuff
Yes being 5th is nice and all, but did he get fucked out of the UK Open with a 76 average having talked shite about the PDC for years?

Re: Random Dart Stuff
van Barneveld retired, then reversed himself within a day
and yet Russ Bray never hollered that he'd done a complete 180?
I'm a little disappointed in Russ.
would have been textbook.

I used to point out quite often that the moderators on TSoD quite happily allowed a link to his website in his signature.

Gando interview. https://www.live-darts.com/category/dar ... -20190409/
So last November?Anderson, who joined the PDC a decade ago, is among the last of the 'old guard' still competing at the top level and admits he has not enjoyed the strains of the circuit in recent times while contending with chronic pain.
"The last 12 months, I've not been enjoying it," added the Scot. "I've been in a lot of pain and I've been getting narky. I like a good laugh and a carry on but it's not been there. I've been sitting in pain and people cheese me off, it's as simple as that. That's not me, I like to have a good laugh at the darts but it wasn't there. If I still can have a laugh with the lads, I'll be alright, but when that goes, I think it's time to knock it on the head."

Re: Random Dart Stuff
I bet a lot of darts fans did, and are far better for it. Bringing Basgooner to court for selling DVDs of sports matches for the fans is an absolute joke. These legal people who whinge about copyright infringement, while keeping everything locked away in a vault where the fans can't see any of it, are a big part of what's wrong with the current world. Darts fans (and football fans and snooker fans) are much worse off without Basgooner having DVDs of sports events to sell to the fans.Randall wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 7:27 pmLoads years back.JeffJeffJeffJeff!!!! wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 6:53 pm Anyone ever buy any DVDs off of Basgooner?

Re: Random Dart Stuff
Now I have no doubt that Gando will retire in a few years, but at least at the UK Open, even in defeat, he looked a lot happier. Hope he can stick around for a while yet, when he's not struggling the game is far better for his presence. If I were him, I'd definitely consider cutting back on some of the TV events (especially towards the end of the year), the back problems seem to be at their worst during the so-called 'Silly Season' with all those tv events so close to one anotherFiss Plaps wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 8:28 pm Gando interview. https://www.live-darts.com/category/dar ... -20190409/

Apparently 9 of the 16 players are confirmed for the New Zealand event, not 100% on whether Cadby is a PDC invite or a 'local' player but I guess we'll see

Re: Random Dart Stuff
May I get this straight. Companies paying shitloads to broadcast and own the copyright are out of order in as much as they protect their investment and act against someone flogging knock offs?PT13 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 4:31 pmNo, just pissed off.The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 8:05 amAre you actually crying?PT13 wrote:I bet a lot of darts fans did, and are far better for it. In another scenario I assume you pay rent, mortgage or own your home? How would you feel if Basgooner broke in and decided to take up squatters rights?
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life
