Lets see if in 2 years they are singing the praises of Des. This will be about the time that the mushroom masses realize they aren't going to put enough asses in seats at indigo to make it pay. But they are bound to it because of the glorious 10 year deal. I have a sneaky suspicion this deal has leverged the BDO to the hilt. They may have gotten a good deal in year 1, but lets be clear they are still hiring services from AEG. They are not partners or sponsors. AEG will get its pound of flesh. I still find it hard to believe AEG would do a 10 yr deal. The only way I see it working for them is they financed over the period. BDO can't cut their losses and run after year 3 when ticket sales can't pay for it and no TV deal is insight.

In the long run this is not going to be good for the BDO.

So plonked around and found some vids of Booth doing his MC thing. Seriously he is nothing more than a bad wedding DJ. Little Richard was far better and much more engaging with the crowd. Richard was corny as fuck but I guess that was part of his charm as well as his size, who doesn't like midgets, am I right?

I think it is great they are putting a woman in the ref spot, why not if she can call properly and delivers the atmospherics needed. Can't be any worse than Huw with his whun wundred and 80. Credit to him as soon as he moved over to the professional gig he fixed that lisp pretty quick.
