Bobby George also said that had the PDC been around decades ago, then himself, Bristow, Lowe and all that lot would have been playing in it - "because of the money".

None of your latter day bullshit about loyalty or the rest of the rhetoric, just honesty like normal people. Yeah yer original darts heroes wanted first and foremost to stuff their pockets with cash. The fucking horror.

I'll never understand why so-called "professionals" wouldn't want to win money and earn a living through the talent they have. Makes no sense.

If someone doesn't really back their own ability then they won't take the plunge. It is one thing to play a bit of darts for extra pocket money. It's another to need to win to earn a living.

It's like the difference between doing a bit of gambling on the side and being a professional gambler.

To think that Barry Hearn was offering the BDO a couple of million pounds in late 2009/early 2010, and they turned him down! Barry must laugh at that every day. Then the BDO did an Ides of March on Olly Croft in 2011 after sensing the impending disaster facing them, yet their removal of Croft only resulted in a big acceleration of the BDO's decline and certainly not a revival in fortunes.

When will the BDO admit that the game is up?

What does the bdo board even do on a daily or weekly basis?
Not negotiating tv deals obviously.

PT13 requests you elaborate your point in detail. He doesn't comprehend anything shorter than, let's say, 7 paragraphs.

He's a man of books, just like Lowtower, you know.

Slowly charging towards bankruptcy while refusing to swallow their pride? Since the Deluxe fiasco, the BDO's decline has gotten increasingly ugly, and one wonders when and how it's all going to end.

I'd assume they have real jobs like the players and bringing down the bdo is just a weekend hobby?

Unlike mod abuse, mate, which has proven itself to be a fulltime job.

You here tomorrow also, mate?

Maybe we can have a good discussion about the do's and don'ts of modding. Still a bit confused about that subject.
