Re: The BDO Appreciation Society - Sponsored by Zeyes
Borrowed from the legend oche because I couldn't be bothered to do it from scratch.
The provisional Lakeside (or... who cares) field. Jimbo, Hinges and Not-Hopp are guaranteed a place having made the semis last time. Whatever happened to Duzza?
That Top 4... holy crap. Spineless looking set for a glorious return. A 13 year-old is 28th.

Still worth winning of course, but anyone who puts it on at least a par with the Ally Pally one is either trolling or ill.

So random, obscure tsod users get a Lakeside seeding now. We really have reached this point. I dearly hope that oche makes it eventually.

The England Open was on this weekend if anyone cares.
Just look at Jim Williams' face for beating Wayne Warren in the final! He clearly doesn't regret choking to Ozzy at Q-School, oh no.

Very pleased to see Beau Greaves send both Bennett and Sherock packing to win the youth and ladies titles.
If she knuckles down and practices I would hope she can become the first woman to get a tour card somwhere down the line.

Re: The BDO Appreciation Society - Sponsored by Zeyes
Oh dear. From elsewhere....
Still scrambling around organising venues, and one the EDO already use, deary me.Self proclaimed millionaires wife (Paula Jacklin) of the CEO (Des Jacklin) of the British Darts Organisation was caught on camera Stealing a number of £20 wrist bands from Bunn Leisure’s Selsey Campus last weekend.
It’s rumoured that whilst Mrs Jacklin was questioning why she didn’t have free entry because of who she is!!
Ie the BDO’s CEO wife. Who incidentally was staying on site but with a private caravan and not hired from Bunn Leisure
Leant over the front desk and stole a number of wrist bands that would cost all non resident and private guests £20 each.
While the receptionists back was turned as she was double checking and questioning if she was entitled to enter free which she wasn’t.
This was at an England Darts Event at the same time as the CEO Des Jacklin of the BDO was in a meeting with Bunn Leisure trying to get them to hold a BDO event.
(Rumoured to be the World Masters)
You really could not make this up.
A number of players are now calling for her to be held up in front of a Disciplinary
Will this happen?
Will she get a ban?
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

Re: The BDO Appreciation Society - Sponsored by Zeyes
Oh and this article aged well - https://metro.co.uk/2019/01/25/bdo-chai ... g-8391123/
There are no shortage of other options for Jacklin and the BDO and it could be that the World Championship goes back to its routes and heads up north in the near future. ‘I have been approached in the past four weeks by people who own a venue and know other venues that would like to see the World Championships at,’ said Jacklin. ‘That’s different venues from all over. ‘There are two in London that have been suggested, two in the Midlands and one in the north. These are not venues that have been bantered about on social media, these are venues I’d never even thought of trying. ‘We’ve been approached by a football team in Division One, which I believed was a Premier League team, and we’ve been approached by them to go to their venue. ‘Not necessarily the World Championship, but we’ve been approached by them to bring our product to them. A football team that everyone will know of instantly, I think that says something. ‘The money we’re talking about in football far surpasses the money in darts, either code of darts.’
