A pretty relative list of unknown household names making the later stages bar an odd few.
Doesn't that say a lot about the general standard of the lads that have beat them Gaz? Tell you what, I'd love to be up there watching this close up
again , as said earlier anyone on the day can win, but the top players should win on average.
With this caper lasting four days the more experienced players should have no excuse. One bad day you can understand maybe even a second but over the whole 4 days if the likes of deano fails then he genuinely is not good enough and proves how shit the so called bdo world rankings are.

Sorry mate but I think you missed the point that both ranking systems are shit. The BDO system is less shit because it aint a two year system that favours those that had a decent run in an event over those that are winning currently.

Shepherd being a prime example

All with nine points I'd say are nailed on to get through. God help West!

He did what some who appeared at Ally Pally for winning obscure events couldn't, he won it. He also had a great run at the Masters

kist won the title true enough but won it by winning a total of 5 matches .....to win the title in the pdc you need to win 6 games at the minimum....so in essence the pdc is tougher longer, as well as financially better, and thats what dictates the pdc order of merit.

I would prefer a one year OoM if I am honest but the issue you made was players in the pdc being reward for a run when the exact same applies to the bdo

Now the big guns are out the way, surely Deano will qualify.

Or will another 80 year old darts player stop him in his tracks? Is Mr Magoo still on the tour?

dont you realise what sort of pressure is on the bdo lads.........if they fail its back to the 1970s style holiday camps for another year with fatz,an array of argos jewellery, sets of darts for prizes, meat raffles, butch bull dykes, and wall to wall of jobbers snored on by piss stenching grandmothers and old men that reek of steredent

The point is Gaz neither system is perfect, there are as many faults in the PDC as there are in the BDO
