Not quite sure how Asada has been playing (though he seemed to play well in the qualifier yesterday), but I think having to go down this route might help him as it's all extra match practice, which everyone in the entire region has missed out on recently. Lam probably got the best of both worlds through qualifying automatically at the last opportunity, although on paper you'd say Asada is better

Lam is a good player but a bit old no potential in him. Asada is the best we can hope for Ilagan is fine as well

You never know with one-off, knockout qualifiers, but on paper you'd definitely back Ilagan to make it as he does it so regularly

- 16 groups of 3 (Best of 7 legs)
- Winners of each group will go into the last 16 (9 Legs)
- Quarters & Semi (11 legs)
- Final (13 legs)
