The women's series OoM runner-up will not give Slam qualification so Safc can update his list. I don't believe it had been confirmed that there would be precisely 2 spots for the birds.

This article from March says that the top 2 from Women's Series get Grand Slam spots.

Good find Thorno. Clearly the PDC has an agenda against Fallon. She is clear top 2 on the OoM but will now have to win the Women's Matchplay to make the Slam.

Porter last month was still Foggy on the slam when asked apart from the format was still the same it would be in Wolverhampton no matter what 2 women would get spots and the Challenge and Development Tour OOMs would be used like last year.
When I created the list that is why
The Women's, Development Tour and Challenge Tour had 2 each that might change when it gets officially announced.

Unless Ashton Wins the Matchplay and the Women's series which means 2nd gets the Women's series place

No no no no they are trying to get her into everything. People have short memories, she failed to get into the behind closed doors Worlds, did they shoehorn her in? Did they fuck.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

Good point, it does seem a long shot that a non-Lisa/Fallon could win that but... you never know.
It's an obstacle which they've chosen to put in front of Fallon when they could easily not have. It goes against the turds on twitter as Thorn says who are just blind where anything Sherrock is concerned. Similarly there's still no sign of all these wildcards that Barney was obviously going to receive now he's back on the tour, lols.

Good riddance, the bald cunt is vile. But even when he was shoehorned into events back then the hate was nowhere near that in Fallon's case

I wonder if Barney was deluded enough to expect handouts this time around.

No fucking idea why he's in it. Surely earns more at exbos. He is not good enough to get to TV events regularly. Hates playing the floor events and is only in there for the money. I think he might have expected some handouts

I think De Graaf and Winstanley will be competitive. Lisa and Fallon will be the favourites obviously but wouldn't be a shock to see the other 2 win it. It's one session, short format, all that matters is getting yourself right for the day.
I don't think the other 4 players will have the quality but it will be a good experience for them. Definitely a surprise that Rhian O'Sullivan didn't make it.

It's kind of been the PDC way over the years, hasn't it? Happy to provide a boost to "projects" of theirs, but they've still got to actually take advantage of the extra opportunities and deliver because it won't be coming indefinitely. Anastasia way back when comes to mind, or past failed attempts to get North America going. Sherrock's not a failure, but she also hasn't quite broken through the way Porter et al. probably hoped for.
And yeah, van Barneveld obviously used up all his courtesy invites and then some back before the short-lived retirement. I'd expect Gary Anderson to get the same treatment eventually when he stops performing well enough even as a part-timer.

Floor's a different beast than the stage, of course, but I feel inclined to mention that Sheldon and Griffiths are right behind de Graaf and Winstanley in this year's tour averages.
In any case, would be nice to see some good performances from the young players Sheldon and O'Brien at the Matchplay while Greaves still deigns to ignore the PDC.

Sheldon and O'Brien have performed really well over the events. Its good to see some young players involved in the Ladies game although Sherrock is not yet 30
