Random Japanese player would be my guess, purely because they'll probably flood the on-site qualifier, take a ton of the 27 spots on offer there, and end up being everywhere in the main draw.

The ugly truth about the BDO, the WDF and the Grand Slam is that the last few years of BDO participation in it, it was purely the BDO name itself that still had any recognition. The specific players invited were almost irrelevant. That's carrying over to today. Almost nobody would give a toss about Neil Duff et al., and unfortunately almost nobody in the UK gives a toss about the WDF either. That means there's no commercial appeal in handing out invites their way. Should at least Duff and Greaves be there for sporting reasons? Probably. But it is what it is.

He's clearly got the game and even if he didn't win the NA Championship, there were loads of tour card holders or Cameron, stepping up to readily stand in. Many of which are better than Duff. That said though, Gates and Asia Champion means two spots less for ProTour probably. Possibly looking like Queef/Scott Williams/Jansen getting the boot, maybe even further up to Aspinall and beyond
Nah, Gates and Asia have got their spots at the expense of the Challenge and Development Tours, which had four spots total last year due to the UK/Europe split tours.

This

Last year with the Challenge and Development tour being separated it meant the winner of both got a spot.

Ah yes

Still, I think one DT place is enough for this given they get two World Youth spots too. Evetts, Rafferty and Barry at the minute are more than enough imo

Rock, Nentjes, Zonneveld etc have the floor route. Bit of a bummer for Girvan, Heneghan etc but what can you do. They never made it through Q School so tough shit I suppose

Out of the top 16 I'd expect van den Bergh to make it

Wade will need to do it in a tv tournament as he isn't on the ETs.

Cross still has a lot of chances as he is in everything remaining.

Jose is in everything but dosen't look like winning an ET or getting to a tv Final same as Ratajski.

Gando is the one who is most fucked only got Matchplay, WSODF and Grand Prix left aswell as Floor Tournaments and us playing shite.

I think the following

Dimitri van den Bergh - Makes It
James Wade - Will end up at Floor Qualifier
Gary Anderson - Will end up at Floor Qualifier (if he can be bothered)
Jose de Sousa - Will end up at Floor Qualifier
Rob Cross - Makes It
Krzysztof Ratajski - Will end up at Floor Qualifier

100% Safc

Van den Bergh unfortunately is gonna make it and Humphries should lock it down with a tv final too.

Anderson and Jose have absolutely no chance

Jose will win through the floor qualifier.

There have to be 5 tv finalists, not already on the list, from 4 tv events in order to boot out all of the ProTour winner qualifiers.

So Queef, S Williams (which is really Burton because Williams just replaces his CT spot), Aspinall, Dirk and Humphries are next to get booted out in order. That's if there aren't any new ProTour or ET winners.

If you're looking at possibilities

Van den Bergh and Cross- likely
Wade- maybe

Can't really see any other tv finalists aside from those already on the list, so Humphries and Dirk are probably gonna make it. Aspinall is touch and go.

Rest are completely fucked
