I was being facetious but his game on the outer ring has been dire for a long time

Aye.

The absence of a Taylor or Peak MVG, combined with the amount of talented players in today's PDC fields, mean that the majors will probably be spread around.

Does the game benefit in exposure to have a Taylor figure playing in it?

Mason made a similar point last weekend IIRC.

That said, I enjoyed this year's Matchplay more than any other tournament in recent memory. So I have few complaints about the fields being wide open.

The game got more attention in the red tops when they could say 16 time world champion.
Runner Up on sports personality, ridiculous for a darts player
You can't buy that kind of publicity

Was out on the piss last night so missed the action.

Weirdly though, I got home and remember going on the PDC twitter account and seeing Niels Zonneveld hitting a winning double, next thing I know I’m in the toilet throwing up everywhere

First time I’ve been sick for about 4 years, and I’m blaming Zonneveld for it

I think Wright probably threw up as well.

I imagine you to be a harmless nerd.

Which isn't so bad really, especially when compared to how I imagine certain other TDF users.

Very good :)

If you age Trigger by 30 years, give him a gaudy green outfit, and change Jason Lowe to John Lowe and Matt Clark to some obscure player from the 80s...........................well you get my point.

No really odious players left in this which is a rarity

Aside from my obvious, wouldn't mind seeing Fatpot and Clemens win this afternoon. Been ages since they've done anything of note on stage
