Its clearly been done to accommodate a) longer ladies semis and final (now best of 5 and 7) b) a 3 set girls final, and c) a long boys final (now best of 7), most of which are only played on the day of the mens semis and final anyway, so why change the rest of the fucking rounds?

Nah that was just the default setting on Darts For Windows or whatever they use for draws, they just didnt change them.

The formats have changed yet again on the WDF website. Mens L32 is now best of 7, the final back to best of 13....and the womens final best of NINE!

Also the format for the womens L24 longer than the L16. Bonkers.
