Yep, there was some mumblings about mental health issues when he got his tour card...

He was getting stressed out due to Malt loitering outside his house every day...
Can't blame him really

Rogg wrote:Yeah Barnard was very dominant on the CT and then correspondingly horrific on the main tour. Without the middle bit. Quite weird.

David Evans did something similar ish I think?

Any system you like, ultimately it's about what humans do with opportunities. So that's about it for this post. People are hopeless. Cheers.
Didn't Evans have one really good weekend during covid times and ended up topping the rankings? He has flopped in a very similar way to barnard

There's certainly some Barnard similarity but yes, Evans probably didn't tear up the CT. I'm very bad on detail these days.

Yep, Evans wasn't one of the leading lights in the first Challenge Tour block that year, but came good in the end. He was the first player to really recognise the benefits of playing the Modus stuff, he absolutely blitzed that and ended up at Ally Pally

I am guessing that it will be the CT as it starts this weekend, so there is no need to use the QS OOM

I have a feeling we will get a player who was knocked out the 1st phase up in the top 5 of the OOM

Great to see Haupai Puha staying on for these. Unfortunate for him to not be able to return home but hoping he can do well

It seems Kovács will skip this again. Maybe the expenses of the travel and accommodation for him and his management are too much.
