DBG's career: Q School 2023?

Post by daveboygreen » Wed Sep 18, 2019 2:28 am

Hopefully with everything I will be able to give it a crack in Jan, Not being self employed and having to answer to others now has made things a bit more difficult with my choices in darts but now im freeing up more weekends and time to play again and for the first time in 10 years im even trying Superleague although it is nor never has been top of the pops with me.

Hope your ban gets lifted and you are allowed to give it a go.
Might be more like it.

DBG at Q School would draw more interest on here than the Euro Tour/Pro Tour/BDO Masters.

Cheers Randall, As it stands I have got 2 of the 4 days booked off work, Im working on getting the other 2 off, Even if I am only able to do 2 of the days im still giving it a crack, Lot of work to do on my game as im back to starting slowly in matches, Only managed a 25.23 at Superleague last week which was disappointing but on the flip side of that I only got there 5 mins before matches started after one long arse 8 day stint at work with zero practice which might explain my slow start in that match but positive from it was I was 3-2 down and flipped it to a 4-3 win with 2 decent legs of darts, The first 5 legs were rubbish, Got my shifts at work now pretty much sorted to allow myself time to practice and now fully staffed at work I will get 2 days a week off which will be a big help and also will be playing Thursday night money league soon again as well as a few comps that are coming up so hopefully will get my arse into gear with playing more competitive darts and more time to put decent practice in.

There is always plenty of interest in what I do in darts, You only have to look back at that cash game against Kong to realize that, Forums were on fire and loads turned up to watch it, Some even phoned in sick to work to come watch it.

With the points system the 4 days are your best bet but its not unusual so see someone come from the pack.

Regretting not going in Jan as I was playing really well but work took priority, I would have lost a shit load if I had fucked off my trade to do it and in the end I did anyways so was no better off lol

Ideally I want to do the 4 days and perfect scenario would be to have a week off beforehand but thats not likely to happen so it will be a case of take as many days as I can at q-school, Hard to get support to do it when your manager and area manager both hate darts haha

So the bet is that I will enter Q-School and turn up to at least one of the 4 days and you give me £50?

No stumping up from me, You stated you would bet £100 on the same terms as Oche, Oche never stated that he would bet me, He simply said he would bet £50, There was no mention or implication that I had to match it....Cheers Ginge....I shall enjoy pissing your £100 up against the wall.
