All these ties are difficult. Pff. Well, for this one I'm thinking that if I want to whack on a one-off film, I'm more likely to choose Fade because it's more in the style of the show. I like RIP so much but it's slightly off on that score. It is many fine things but I can't especially say it's fun... not automatically a bad thing but I've got to split them somehow. Fade.

Well, there's a freshness to Waters which I seem unable to get past. See Him is so entertaining though. Oh dear. I really don't mind. Waters. Love the setting.

Stitch is why I bought the boxset. I only had Series 2 in the first place. This is just great TV. It took something special to bin IQ.

Columbo Cries Wolf 11-9 Murder by the Book

Damn. Like RIP, Wolf breaks the format a bit, but in this case I'd say the break only hugely improves things. It sort of reboots the film in the middle. It totally threw me the first time around and made the gotcha all the more satisfying. So much fun. But Book is fantastic. What can I say about Book? Sorry Book.

I'm surprised that Fade got this far really. Much as I like it, I don't think I'd put it in my personal top few. The great IQ has it beaten for me.

Murder by the Book 12-8 Now You See Him

The Cassidy derby. It's some praise that he has two in the last four.

Book is the better one. There's something about that scene in the store with the books on the shelf and the car outside on a sunny day. It's just lovely to watch.
