A scene with the parking meter comes to me now

Ooft, here we go then.

Ice ---- Columbo is assaulted. Huge lump on his head. Officer calls for ice.
Furry ---- He examines a piece of the paper photo puzzle and wonders what the furry part is. Turns out it's the sea on a map.

Bulb ---- bulb not working. C unscrews it and finds a piece of the puzzle rolled up inside.
Trousers ---- C in hospital, wants to escape. Nurse nicks his trousers. Somebody presents him with a stupidly colourful pair which he hates but wears.

Arty --- the name of C when he's undercover. Arty Stokes.
Gallery ---- one of the people on the torn list of names works in an art gallery, a woman.
Parking and Coin ---- parking, put a coin in the parking meter, coin preserved his fingerprint.
