Randall's top Columbo episodes

Post by Randall » Sun Nov 15, 2020 11:54 am

11 a deadly state of mind

George hamilton plays a deadly doctor.

First he kills his lovers husband in his home.
Fleeing the scene the only "witness" is a blind man walking his dog.

Later as his mistress looks like cracking and confessing to Colombo he uses hypnosis make her jump from her balcony thinking she is going for a swim.

I will leave it to rogg to diagnose where Colombo catches him out?

I saw the very first episode of Colombo the other day.

Also remember the one with Billy Connolly and the great Donald Pleasence.
Fuck off Stuart Pyke and John Rawling!

I've only seen them all once. I've got them lined up to go again, so don't want to think about the spoilers I've forgotten about.

Soz Randy but keep going with your countdown and descriptions. I do remember the blind man walking his dog.

There's one I remember watching where this guy trained his German Shepherds? Or Dobermans? To attack and kill this guy when a certain command word was said.

Can't remember how Columbo got him, though.

And I have no idea why I remember the one with Billy Connolly in so well. Probably because he's one of the few guest starts that I actually recognise.

Colombo reprogrammed the dogs so rosebud meant lick him not kill him. The guy tried to set the dogs on him and it was all over for him

The billy Connolly one he was a composer, killed a guy on the roof as I recall

Ahh, yes! That was it! Was this one of the few episodes with his dog "Dog" in it as well?

He did. Drugged him first and then used a service elevator on the roof, so when the doors opened upwards, it rolled his body off the roof to his death, to try and make it look like he fell off.

10 the bye bye sky high IQ murder case

At a high IQ society a member in an accounting firm murders his partner to prevent his embezzling being uncovered.
Uses a record, player some squibs and an umbrella to throw Colombo off the timing of the murder.
The arrogant mr Brandt may have met his match in Colombo and in the end Its his arrogance that brings him down
