Collectors corner

Anyone else here collect anything?

After years of collecting teddy bears for reasons well known to most here, I now find myself back collecting marvel comics.

Must be a gene I have or some but I am a completist.
Currently collecting all 156 issues of the 70s marvel team up and the 107of the two in one series for no real reason I understand.

Did you keep and sell all her bears?

Her last words to me were I don't give a fuck what you do with them

Actually her last words were I'm calling the police.

So is she still tied up in the basement?

Yes, the neighbours ask from time to time what the noise is but so far I've got away with it.
I'm still barred from her fancy man's place of work as well.

Just spent another £150 on comics.
Really need to stop this month now.

Hoarding, rather than collecting.

Horror paperbacks
The kids loved my old Matchbox cars - most were knackered, so I went through a phase of buying decent condition 70's and 80's Matchbox
Same with Britains Deetail model soldiers, knights, cowboys, indians etc.

But kids have grown out of that now.

I never used to get rid of paperbacks but it assumed lunatic proportions.

Had a load of rubiks stuff in at work.
30odd years later I can still do the ball with my eyes shut in less than ten seconds.

Got a couple of the Star Wars toys from Compare The Market this week, does that count?

Are they collectable?!
I certainly prefer collecting comics again rather than teddy bears!

Comic I got is limited to 600 copies world wide.
So many variants being released in low numbers, if you can get them at retail you can make a killing.

Picked up a comic overnight for 99p.
Worth at least 30-40 quid.
God bless people who list things ineptly.

I have a signed photo of my Chizzy (spelt wrong of course). Must be worth a few million.
