They have some memorable gimmicky bits but once you've seen it, you've seen it.

Like where they mount the camera on the fan and it's panning very slowly left and right for ages and... in the third film I think.
They're shit. The "gimmick" for the 4th is all about the Xbox Kinnect. I just don't care.
And because they cost so little to make and they make a load of money, that's why there was sequels galore.
Spot on

Have a +1 Sir
Why thank you.
Unfriended is also another good example. Although I didn't really mind the second one that much.
Oh yeah I've seen Unfriended. A lot of reading of screen text involved as I recall. Didn't realise they'd had the nerve to make a second one of those... may check.

The characters aren't complete shit-heads in the sequel. So that was already a plus.

Ready or not (2019) - 7/10
Good horror film with elements of comedy.
Nothing groundbreaking but an enjoyable watch.

The sequel isn't as good.
Commendable for being different and not re-hashing the same stuff from the first film but not as good.

Ma (2019)

2/10 - Don't bother. Was only 90 mins long. Felt it lasted at least 3 times that.

Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.
