Watched the first one.
Never really thought it was funny.
So no idea why I watched the second.
I guess I kept watching for the blonde bird.

Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood - Third time watching this and this time I actually enjoyed it. While I still think it's weak compared to most of Tarantino's other movies (aside from Death Proof, which remains my least favourite of his), it's better than I originally thought, at least given that now my expectations were somewhat lowered. Liked Brad Pitt a lot more than the first time I watched it, and DiCaprio grew on me as well. As long as you're not looking for a pulse-pounding movie that moves at a steady clip, it's an okay diversion-type movie. Never had an issue with the production design or anything, and the scene with Kurt Russell, Zoe Bell, and Pitt remains my favorite of the movie. Loved it just as much as the first time I saw it...I imagine I'll revisit this again in the next several months, and I'm kind of looking forward to that. 10/10

I watched The Great Escape for the first time. Happy to see William Russell in it, an original Doctor Who companion who is still with us age 95.
Miraculously I watched it in one sitting. The length of the thing was rather daunting but it was really engaging. I'll give it an 8.

and The Simpsons movie. It's 13 years old now... bloody hell. Why hasn't there been another one?

I've not seen a 'new' episode for ages. It was getting wild and weird then and that's a decade ago probably. Some of it must be proper bonkers by now?The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 11:12 pmBecause it would be utter crap just like the show is now.Rogg wrote:Privates on Parade. John Cleese. The Blair Witch Project (original). First time I've seen it.
Budget: $60,000
Box office: $248.6 million
Woof. Found it very tedious but I imagine the billion rip-offs since are to blame for that. Anyone remember when it came out? It was clearly massive.

Not seen that one but I agree generally. Not a fan of the shaky camera. Very disappointed with the Blair Witch which was re-made recently... wonder why and what happens in that one.
Have you/anyone watched Paranormal Activity and the like?

Re: Rate the movie you watched
I got dragged to see Paranormal Activity 4 whenever it came out. Utter shite. And I've seen either the first or second on ITV2 ages ago. Not my cup of tea. When it comes to horror movies, give me some mad cunt hacking people to pieces any day.

Jimmi and Safc you're not having them.
They have some memorable gimmicky bits but once you've seen it, you've seen it.
Like where they mount the camera on the fan and it's panning very slowly left and right for ages and... in the third film I think.

They're shit. The "gimmick" for the 4th is all about the Xbox Kinnect. I just don't care.
And because they cost so little to make and they make a load of money, that's why there was sequels galore.

Why thank you.
Unfriended is also another good example. Although I didn't really mind the second one that much.
