Re: Prisoner Cell Block H
It's not exactly a remake. It's effectively a prequel. Bea Smith goes to jail and it's her story before "Prisoner" as we knew it. It's set in the current day instead if the early 70s and is only a 10 episode season instead of an ongoing soap. They're bringing Ferguson into the second season whereas in the original, it was a few years before she arrived so it's completely breaking the timeline.D & B wrote:Remake being shown on Channel 5 tonight.

Not really interested in the plot to be honest, a bit of lezza action is the attraction.Mr Sheen wrote:It's not exactly a remake. It's effectively a prequel. It's after the watershed so should get a bit of tit and a couple of rug shots if we're lucky.

Ah yes, he used to play 'Ted Douglas' from the 'Department'. Think he may have played other characters before Ted.The Cat wrote:Is Harold in it again? He seems to be in everything Australian
Alf Stewart also played at least two different characters - Ernest Craven the evil governor of Blackmoor and an old mate of Jim Fletchers who ended up killing Jim's family, if memory serves..
